  • Including 2-course Christmas Lunch. Glazed leg ham and chicken w’ roasted potatoes and pumpkin, garden salad and coleslaw followed by Pavlova w’ fresh fruit & cream. Live music from 11am on a beautiful location with great company. BYO.

Join us for a boat-themed Christmas weekend on Friday, November 24th – Sunday, November 26th, at the Royal QLD Yacht Squadron Canaipa Point.

Whether you arrive by boat or passenger ferry, it’s a welcoming event for all boat types and models. Opt to arrive on Friday for the Christmas Boat Lights Decoration Competition, with a chance to win a $500 voucher at RMC Service Centre.

The main event is on Saturday, November 25, 2023, starting at 11 a.m. Enjoy live music, lunch, games, and great company throughout the afternoon and evening, then stay on anchor Saturday night till Sunday. Remember to BYO (Bring Your Own) to the RQYS venue and embrace the Hawaiian Christmas Day dress-up theme. Plus, please bring an unwrapped Christmas toy for donation to children cared for by the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation. It’s a festive maritime celebration not to be missed!

Please remember to bring an 'unwrapped' Childrens gift.

Please find below the hospital stipulations around toys when you donate:

  • No button batteries
  • Toys must be new
  • Suitable to be washed & disinfected
    (plastic toys are most suitable)
  • Sadly, toys can’t be gift wrapped.
  • No wooden toys.
  • Nothing with sharp edges, items with controversial, 
    political or of a religious nature.
